2016.

A record year for me.

God asked me to let go of friendships,

He asked me to let go of my comfort zone,

He asked me to let go of my own plans.

Through all of this letting go,

I learned to hold on.

Hold on to the people God has put in your life because they are there for a reason, even if it’s just for a season.

Hold on to your passions and dreams because God has placed them in your heart so He can use you for his glory.

Hold on to the hope that things will get better.

Most importantly, I learned that whether or not I hold onto God, he is always holding onto me.

So here’s to another year of learning to walk with Jesus. Another year of learning and growing and overcoming. Here’s to a new year with a fresh start.

The best is yet to come.
