Weekend 4.1.17

My weekend actually started Thursday night at my Young Life leader Alli (or Kreech)’s house. We had a girls night complete with pizza, lots of talking, and the movie Leap Year. The movie was a classic Romcom with a happy ending, which helped get us through the rest of the week. Those who attended where Kreech of course, Gina (another leader), Anna and I, and finally Noelle and her friend!

Friday night I relaxed and did pretty much nothing but watch Friends and hang out with my dog. On Saturday we had a slow morning, then my sister and I drove out to see our cousins’ new land they are fixing up. It’s a little bit of a mess right now but it’ll be exciting to see what it transforms into!

We decided this should be Emmy’s first car. Might need a little work..

That is what will be our new house! It borders our cousins’ land so we will eventually be neighbors! Can’t wait to start making some epic ATV trails!

On Saturday night we took a much needed and traditional cousin spring shopping trip before we leave for Florida later this week! We went to the mall, then Target, and finally Chickfila to get milkshakes which never dissappoint! (It was the classic trio of me, Anna, and Emmy)

On Sunday, I woke up feeling sick (with a stuffy nose and sore throat), so I stayed home and watched our church service online. I laid low for the majority of the day, but did drag Anna along to Giant and Starbucks just to get out of the house.

Started planning April and getting ready for the last week before spring break!

My weekend not only started early, but ran a little long. Today (Monday) I stayed home from school to get some extra rest because I still wasn’t feeling great. I took a 2 hour nap! And actually had time to put a little effort into my hair. I traded my coffee for tea and lots of water. I honestly didn’t mind getting sick, it allowed for some much needed slowing down and prioritizing rest.
